The Addixx Inert Box K-SR is made of polycarbonate and stands out for its lower height (approx. 7 cm) compared to the Addixx Inert Box K-SV; this is of special importance in case of low-built conveyorised systems. The Inert Box can quickly and easily be closed or opened by means of 4 plastic screws.
The basic version of the Inert Box is equipped with a gas inlet port and a gas outlet connection, a bottom plate for fixing substrates, and a window in the lid for irradiating. It is suitable for stationary irradiation during inertisation.
Optionally, the box can also be supplied with one or two valves for closing the Inert Box. This version is intended to be used for mobile irradiation under constant inert conditions, e.g. on a conveyor belt.
Another option is that the interior walls of the bottom part of the Inert Box are equipped with a diffusely reflecting aluminium foil. This version is intended to be used, among other things, for curing the edges of three-dimensional substrates or to make additional use of the irradiation reflected by the walls of the housing.
The basic version of the Addixx Inert Box K-SR is currently offered in five versions of different sizes:
